Siesta Key Village is the heart of the tourist fun on Siesta Key! There are tons of restaurants, shops and sights all within walking distance from where you'll be staying ...and right on the beach.
Siesta Beach is frequently ranked as the #1 beach in the US! Siesta Beach Main is a huge beach with a long walkway, pavilions, bathrooms and ample parking. It is beautiful. As a side note, there is walkable beach access from Siesta Key Village where you'll be staying that is slightly north of the main beach and frequently less crowded.
The Big Tiki Lounge is connected to the Siesta Key Beach Resort and Suites and where we will be hosting our welcome party! It is laid back and fun in the heart of Siesta Key Village with live music and walkable to the beach for sunset!
This is our favorite restaurant in Sarasota where they serve the fresh fish caught that day. It is a laid back, picnic table atmosphere in the Safe Harbor Marina on the south end off Siesta Key. Get the daily ceviche and the hogfish and enjoy the live music. It is always packed so expect a wait.
St. Armand's Circle is a fun neighborhood of shopping and restaurants on Lido. You take the Ringling Bridge over from downtown Sarasota which is a beautiful drive!
This is my favorite beach in Sarasota. It is located on Lido, all the way south. The parking can be a nightmare after 10am but the color of the water is incredible and the shallow water makes it easy to play. You will find so many beautiful shells too. The hardcore shell seekers have monogrammed collecting bags and might box you out for a particularly good one!
