Things To Do

Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum

620 North Harvey Avenue, Oklahoma City, OK 73102

One of the most profound and pivotol events that happened to both our nation but most acutely Oklahoma and OKC specifically was the 1995 bombing of the federal building. This museum is one of the most well thought out, intentional, and meaningful memorial museums in the country that captures the impact of tragedy and resilience within a community. We highly recommend at least walking through the national park and the museum is well worth the visit!

The Hall's Pizza Kitchen

1004 North Hudson Avenue, Oklahoma City, OK 73102

This pizza kitchen is one of the best pizza places you will find - nothing fails on this menu whether it's their unique pizzas or other food options. This place is one of our favorites as we lived just down the street for a few years.

Waffle Champion

1212 North Walker Avenue, Oklahoma City, OK 73103

If you love waffles, Waffle Champ is your place. It is another one of our favorite places for breakfast with a unique concept and all the waffles you could want.

National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum

1700 Northeast 63rd Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73111

If you are visiting where western/frontier culture began, visiting this museum is a great idea. Very kid friendly with lots of play areas and fun things for them to do. The history demonstrated throughout the entire museum is pretty incredible and does not shy away from all the positive and dark areas of the expansion of western frontier and the cultural history behind a state like ours.

Scissortail Park

300 Southwest 7th Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73109

Scissortail Park is an incredibly expansive park in OKC with so much space for kids to run around. There is a water park area for kids to play in, playground structures, tennis/pickelball courts, basketball courts, etc. There is usually a farmer's market going Friday mornings. It is also right across the street from where the OKC Thunder play.

Myriad Botanical Gardens

301 West Reno Avenue, Oklahoma City, OK 73102

The Myriad Gardens are beautiful and located right next to Scissortail Park. The gardens are a beautiful place to walk around with so much beauty to see and play structures for kids to mess around on.

Plaza District

Oklahoma City, OK 73106

The Plaza District has lots of great food options and little boutique stores! Keep in mind we will be having pizza at the reception from Empire Slice located in the plaza, so if you want to try something different then keep that in mind.

Paseo Arts District

3024 Paseo, Oklahoma City, OK 73103

The Paseo district is a fun artsy area with some good food and art stores!
