Things To Do

Welcome to Baton Rouge! We’re so excited to celebrate with you, and we hope you get to enjoy a little bit of what makes our city special while you’re here. Whether you’re looking for great food, outdoor fun, or a classic Louisiana experience, here are some of our favorite picks:
Live After Five at Rhorer Plaza

Live After Five at Rhorer Plaza

230 Saint Louis Street, Baton Rouge, LA 70802

5PM - 8PM Free Street Parking Downtown or River Center Garage Parking $10 If you’ll be joining us in town on Friday, we highly recommend checking out Live After 5, Baton Rouge’s signature outdoor concert series. Set in the heart of downtown along the Mississippi River, it’s the perfect way to ease into the weekend with great music, local food, and a lively (yet relaxed) atmosphere. This event is especially meaningful to us — Live After 5 was our very first date, and we’re planning to stop by before the wedding to bring everything full circle. If you’re looking for something fun and easy to do, we’d love for you to enjoy it too. Expect free live performances from Louisiana artists, local vendors, delicious food trucks, and beautiful riverfront views as the sun sets. Bring a blanket or lawn chair, find a cozy spot, and soak in a little Baton Rouge charm. It’s a fun way to kick off the weekend — and the perfect place to start celebrating with us a little early.

Elsie's Plate & Pie

The menu is packed with incredible comfort food, but here are our absolute top picks to guide your order: Kelsey's Favorite: Chicken and Red Beans Chuck's Favorite: Seafood Pot Pie Must-Do: No matter how full you are, make sure to finish your meal with a slice of their famous pie. It’s the perfect place for great food and even better memories. We hope you love it as much as we do!

The Radio Bar
