Our Story
Priscilla and Kevin met in 2022 in NYC while volunteering with Meals for Unity, drawn by a shared desire to support the AAPI community. Priscilla made the first move and invited him to watch Ghostbusters in Prospect Park. He brought a friend with him, turning what she thought was a date into a group hang. Priscilla was determined. She invited him to her favorite summer spot, Brooklyn Crab—this time he came solo. In Priscilla’s mind, this is when their love story began.
Over the next couple months, they went on dates to GG Tokyo and Fish Cheeks. Kevin even impressed her with homemade paella on their first date. Priscilla was instantly smitten. In fact, one night, she was so excited to make things official with Kevin that she woke him up at 4 AM to ask him to be her boyfriend. Since then, they’ve navigated job changes, traveled, and adopted their bobble-headed pup, Penny. Moral of the story: go for what you want—you never know where it may lead!
