What is the timeline of the event?

There has been a slight change to the timeline: 3:00 Please arrive to the venue 3:30 Ceremony 4:00 Appetizers available, bar open 4:30 Champagne toast! 5:30-7:00 Dinner is served 7:00 Dessert! 8:00 Further merriment and celebration, bar closes 9:00 Tearful farewells (10:00 The party continues at Alex’s bar)

Is there a wedding registry? Should I bring a gift?

Instead of physical gifts, Jose and Chrystene would appreciate a contribution to their honeymoon fund! While a final location for the honeymoon has not been decided yet, a trip to Japan seems very likely.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Welcome to the Woodlands! Please dress in semi-formal attire, any color except white/cream is appropriate. There is no strict dress code theme, but feel free draw inspiration from Garden Whimsy, Farm Fancy, and Woodland Magic. Please note there are some areas of the venue with gravel, so comfortable shoes are recommended.

What’s on the menu? Will there be drinks?

Answer

We will be serving tacos for dinner, if you have any dietary restrictions please text the bride or groom ASAP. There will be wine and beer at the bar to enjoy, as well as a mix of non-alcoholic drinks. Your first drink is on us, please be sure to bring cash or card if you want any additional alcoholic beverages.

Can we take pictures during the ceremony?

We ask that you keep your phones and cameras away during the ceremony, we have a photographer who will be able to capture all of the magical moments!

Will the event be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both! The ceremony will be indoors, and the remainder of the party will be both indoors and outdoors. Please keep an eye on the forecast and bring a jacket for the chilly night.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

As much as we would love to have more folx to celebrate our big day, we can only have so many guests at the venue due to capacity. Only guests who have received an invitation from the bride or groom may attend, thank you for your understanding.
