Tanner and I met at a mutual friend’s housewarming party. This was Summer of 2019. My family was in town visiting and Tanner was in the middle of harvest season. We both had obstacles that could have prevented us from going to this housewarming party. My family told me that I needed to go because you never know who you might meet. Meanwhile, Tanner was in the field and didn’t think he was going to be done early that day, so we almost missed each other. Shortly after we met I had to leave to go and catch up with my family. Both my family and some of friends at the housewarming party told me I needed to come back. I came back and we ended up talking in their driveway for hours. The rest is history….
