It all started when Christina started her career as a school psychologist and met her co-worker, Gerry, the school's counselor. Little did Christina know that Gerry was also interested in branching out to start her matchmaking career. The first couple dates were flops and Christina laid down exactly what she was looking for. With that, Gerry had a lightbulb moment - "Oh my! How did I not see this before!" She knew this guy from weekly trivia at Brass Tap and have come to love him for his exceptional personality and big heart. Bonus for Christina was his beard and tattoo sleeve. Gerry invited Christina to come to trivia that week. With some hesitancy, Christina reached out to her grandmother for advice. In true Grandma spirit, she said, "Just go! He could be hot and it's just trivia." Christina was convinced. She drove into the parking lot, called up her girl for some encouragement, and did a creepy drive-by. Seeing a hunk at the bar she hoped was the mystery man, Christina braved the outdoor patio to not only meet her match but also the huge trivia team and even his mother! Their introduction started awkwardly, with a shaky handshake - a cringe moment Christina thinks of till this day and a jab Hunter uses regularly. The rest of the night was filled with chit-chat, playful flirting, and lots of laughter. They met again that weekend at Lake Carroll and Hunter completely swooned after Christina did a backflip off the dock. The rest is history. The past five years have been full of fun, laughter, and love. The bar hopping, good eats, excellent friendships, travelling adventures, house projects, fur baby love, and overall amazing times have been ever present. Christina and Hunter are so excited to continue the good vibes as husband and wife and can't wait to have all their favorite people around to witness their journey. Cheers!
