Mother of the Bride
Nikush is my daughter. I was born in Poland, but I'm now a proud American citizen living in Central Jersey. I love to do yoga in my retirement, and am active in my church. Bez Boga, daleka droga. I love Christopher so much, like he's my own son already. I am so happy that my daughter is getting married.
Mother of the Groom
I prayed for her to come into my son's life. This is the truth of the most important and most special desire I've ever had for my son Christopher. As a mother my one and only desire has been to see my son filled with happiness and life it is all I've lived for. This love for them is the driving force of my life, so much so that to define me, one would merely just say: Mother of Christopher and Phillipe. She who worked and prayed that sublime happiness be theirs and so, when Monika arrived in my son's life and I saw the happiness and love she gave to him, I knew that God had answered my prayers and this woman's work was blessed.
Father of the Bride
I am nika's Papi. I was born in Portugal, but I'm now a proud American citizen living in Kansas. I am very happy to see my batatinha marry "the little one."
Father of the Groom
I'm Chris' father, I was born in the Dominican Republic and I am so very happy my son is getting married.
Maid of Honor
I am Monica's mom's adopted Asian daughter. Also the favorite child because I like sour cream :D
Best Man
I'm Chris' younger brother, we grew up together in Washington Heights and the Bronx. He's a great uncle to my son Leo who changed my perspective on life and love forever.
Bridesmaid
Close friend of Monica's since high school. Followed her to Rutgers, and even copied her major. I guess you could say I'm her loyal, truss-worthy BFF. >:{
Best Man
Hello, I'm Juancarlos and I am the bestest mensch. Our love for doing insane things like waking up at 5am to get on a bus to a soccer game brought the three of us together. Since then, we've traveled the states and occasionally the world. One time, they let me sleep in Peanut's crate. They're both amazing people, amazing friends, and I'm so excited to be a part of their wedding.
Bridesmaid
Monica and I randomly got placed together at Rutgers freshman year. Since then we've bonded over pi club, the red bulls, hot springs, and small beasties. One of my favorite things to do with Monica is going to great restaurants like Mr. Adams, Lee's Hawaiian, and what I thought would be a horse meat restaurant in Iceland.
Groomsman
Hi, I'm Sean! I've known Monica for 12 years. She's lost many things over those years: wallets, gloves to the Hudson River, sanity to engineering exams, to name a few. One thing she hasn't lost is her excitement for life and one thing she found was Chris! He stood out in a crowd to her because he's 6'6" tall ::ba-dum tiss::
Bridesmaid
I wanted Monica in my life so badly that I made sure she was my sorority little sister not once, but twice. So happy to be able to stand by her side and take part in the beginning of her next adventure.
Groomsman
I hail from Flushing, Queens and am now in a 24/7 vacation in Park Slope, Brooklyn with my girlfriend. I hustled Monica and Chris into joining our insane soccer supporters club, ESC. I sold Monica her first ESC scarf prior to her membership. Eventually, I sold Chris a membership. Suckers! They are great people. They even let me crash in their mansion sometimes.
Bridesmaid
Fate had it that Rutgers would place Monica and I on the same dorm floor freshman year of college. Since then we together suffered through, survived, and graduated from Civil Engineering, shared a sorority sisterhood, worked at Friendly's ("free sandwiches for e'erybody!"), experienced guinea pig and bunny parenting, traveled to various places, and then became post college roomies
Groomsman
I met Monica and Chris in Section 101. They’ve both seen far too much of me (especially Chris). I once got gluten and lactose intolerance confused and got Monica a cheesecake (which was gluten free...).
Bridesmaid
Monica and I are both veterans of the Rutgers Engineering program and share a mutual admiration of rabbits. I met Monica at Rutgers University and quickly became one of my closest friends. She is like family and my mom’s favorite “adopted” child. We have had plenty of adventures, like our one day road trip cross country to Stone Hedge at the crack of dawn, Wales, and back to London. Monica is a brilliant, vibrant person and I am excited for the new chapter of her life.
Groomsman
Pat here! I’ve known Chris and Monica for quite some time now, as a fellow member of that nutty soccer family. My fondest Chris memory I have is our trip to Mexico City where he voluntarily took the twin-sized cot instead of the queen bed. 10/10 traveling buddy, would recommend!
Usher
I am Monica's younger brother. I enjoy video games and hanging out with dogs that like me aka not Peanut.
Usher
I met Monica through Nicole at Monicas Harrison apartment where we bonded over a shared love of pools and cigars. I met Chris while camping, which we were both new to. Both of us were very scared of bears. In future camping trips we spent many of nights around the fire as the last ones awake at 3am listening to the Hamilton and Moana soundtracks. I take the job of Usher very seriously. People will be in their seats at record times.
Ring Bearer
I have been kicked out of the wedding party for being mean to strangers and will only be attending in spirit. I've had a ruff life before my dogfather and mother rescued me, but I hope I have brought a lot of love and joy to my mom and dad. I love them so much. Please don't pet me.
