Maid of Honor
Caroline and I met in grad school and pretty instantly became best friends. We were both passionate about our program but also valued balance in our lives. We bonded over adventures, home decor, writing cards, astrology, solving life's problems, being good eaters, "studying" to loud music, impulsivity, and touch tunes. Caroline is extremely warm and incredibly loving. I am beyond happy we bonded so quickly oversharing stories in Fisher Hall.
Best Man
Mike is my first and best friend. He's supportive, kind, brilliant, witty, and an all-together role model for me. Mike's level-headedness has gotten me through some of the most challenging moments of my life, and I'd want no one else to be my right-hand man on the best day of my life. I am so proud to call you my brother, and I am so grateful to have such a fantastic role model in my life.

Laura and I always joke that we introduce each other as both best friend and cousin. It's kind of a slight brag because seriously, how special and awesome is it to have a best friend that is related to you? Anyway, from staying up too late at sleepovers to silly puddy in her hair that resulted in sideburns to the 'year of engagements' and wedding planning separately but together, Laura and I have been through everything. I couldn't imagine not having her by my side through all of life's experiences.

How lucky am I to get another brother, and it turns out the best brothers are always named Michael. Michael has made me feel like a brother and a part of the Davidson family since early on. When I asked for his blessing to marry Christyn, his response was so reassuring, kind, and earnest. That's Michael, though; unfailingly kind, and is a role model for me in being a good person, good husband, and good father. I'm thrilled to have him supporting me on the day we officially become brothers.

Kerryn and I played soccer together and were best friends in kindergarten. I moved, but we stayed on the same soccer team. We were still friends but no longer saw each other every day. A few days before 7th grade started, I began to get nervous about where I would sit at lunch and who my friends would be. My mom encouraged me to ask Kerryn at soccer practice if I could sit at her table. Very shyly, I asked and she of course told me I could sit at her table. From that moment on, we were inseparable. Kerryn is what I always describe as, "a good one." She is just a wonderful soul. You become immediately happy when you are in her presence with her contagious laugh and radiating smile.

I don't think I can really emphasize how important my friendship with Jeff is to me. Though we've known each other for only a few years, Jeff has taught me more about life, relationships, and values than anyone else. We spent some of our most formative years together, sharing some of the best memories I have. Between muffin shop LR's and Barnacle Sundays, Walnut and Wesley pandemic Fridays, Londontown adventures, and monthly visits to Manchester, Jeff has been a constant force for good in my life, and Christyn's. It's a beautiful thing when your two best friends can get along with each other as well as you get along with each of them, and that's certainly the case with Jeff. I can't wait to see what the next chapters of life bring our way.

I met Kate on Craigslist when looking for housing in Pittsburgh. I contacted Kate about her post and overshared about the exact type of roommate I was: "clean, but a little messy like 'leave my shoes by the door messy' or 'can't find an outfit so all my clothes are on the floor messy.'" Thankfully Kate loved this, and after a quick Facetime to meet and show the apartment, I moved in and we have pretty much talked every day since. Kate is truly one of the kindest, most thoughtful, and loving friend a person could have. Craigslist was GOOD to me.

Kyle and I have been friends, literally, since birth. Our parents, all having attended UConn, raised us and our siblings together from day one to make the same responsibly irresponsible decisions they made. So many of my best memories include Kyle: Quonnie summers, chicken wings and Green Bay games, clam bakes, Clam River retreats. It only makes sense to include Kyle in this newest best memory. Kyle and I share a mutual love for bringing back the traditions of our parents, and I certainly hope to have our children share the same friendship we do and continue those traditions.

Ariel and I met in Astoria. We both worked in the same building, each for separate companies. I remember listening to one of Ariel's PT sessions with a client who threw a dollhouse at me the week prior, and thinking, "Wow, she is so poised and so stern despite this child having a meltdown. I want to be that kind a therapist." Then I got to know Ariel and very quickly learned that she was not only an incredibly smart, calm therapist, but a strong, kind, and thoughtful friend. I couldn't be happier that she married one of my high school besties!

I met Kevin at Senior Prom, probably one of the last times either of us wore a tuxedo. We pretty much became instant friends, and though we didn't go to the same college, Kev became a regular guest up at UConn. Between toga parties, beach weekends, and a ton of craft beer, Kevin proved to me that he's the chillest person I have and ever will meet. But beyond that, he's just a fantastic friend. I'm glad to have that energy by my side when I'll inevitably feel not at all chill.
Bridesmaid / Officiant
Abby was the field hockey athletic trainer at UConn. When Paul hired Chrissy, he told Abby that he hired her a friend. When we met, she was bubbly and excited, and I was oddly, extremely shy. Thankfully, we started season and roomed together on away trips where we had numerous nights of face masks, mindless TV, and hours of pillow talk. It became very clear that Abby was going to be a constant in my life and Nick's life, too. Before Nick's and my first date, Abby and I were having drinks. She got to see Nick's and my relationship unfold from the very beginning and for this, we were certain she would be the best person to officiate our wedding.

I met Michael Raccio on the first day of preschool. I didn't want to leave my mom, started to cry, and Michael gave me a hug. We were friends ever since. I always wanted to be like Michael growing up, from haircuts, to skateboarding, snowboarding, and dressing well. And I think Michael always wanted to be able to drink beers like me, but he's never seemed to figure that one out. But most of all, Michael has been an absolute best friend to me. He's a stand-up guy, always willing to step up to the plate when things get tough, he's unfailingly kind, confident, and has a huge heart. Because of all that, I know he will always be someone I look up to and a constant force of good in my life.
Flower Child
Jaxtyn turned 3 in March. He is the Master of Disaster 2.0. He loves Paw Patrol, Play-Doh, hot chocolate with marshmallows at night, Loki and his cats, trucks, and spending time with his Mommy, Daddy, Cat, and Pop.
Flower Child from a Distance
Calum turns 2 in November. He is a ball of energy and learning new words every day. He loves his dogs, Molly and Kodi; enjoys kisses, snugs, reading books with mom and listening to sea shanties with dad; and LOVES dinos...rawr!
Matron of Honor from a Distance
Megan is a legend. She is unbelievably caring, incredibly smart, and a rockstar mom, wife, sister, daughter, friend, etc. I am so proud of my sister and have truly admired her my entire life. I learn from her every single day whether that be learning how to get my money back from grubhub for typing in two the wrong addresses or how to advocate for myself in difficult conversations. I hope everyone has a Megan in their life.
