From Our Garden To Yours

The seedlings are Missouri Native Wildflowers, grown with love from seeds harvested from our Pollinator Garden, to yours. The pots are biodegradable. Plant it directly in the ground, and the wildflowers will take root through it. Or, plant in a larger pot, as all these wildflowers should flourish in container gardens as well. See below for information on individual plants!
Columbine

Columbine

Missouri Native Columbine is the first bloom of the Spring to feed returning hummingbirds. Thrives in the ground or containers, full sun or part shade. Cool foliage after blooming is over in early June. Low to no maintenance, will die back in winter and return in late spring!

Lanceleaf Coreopsis

Lanceleaf Coreopsis

Sunny! Happy! This is from one of my first native plants. It is so happy, even when totally neglected. Will thrive in the ground or in containers, traditionally blooms from May through July, but mine often lasts until September. Loves full sun, and can tolerate a drought.

Fame Flower / Rock Pink

Fame Flower / Rock Pink

My FAVORITE! It is so delicate and gorgeous, and so tough! Treat it just like a succulent, which is to say, set it in the sun and forget to water it more often than not. Thrives best in a container, can be left outside all winter and forgotten, and it will still come back. I find it likes a few rocks scattered around to help keep its *feet* dry. It will self-seed throughout the season and fill your container with new babies. Did I mention that this one is my favorite?

Purple Coneflower

Purple Coneflower

Pollinator powerhouse. Loves the sun, but can take a little shade. Thrives in almost any soil and can take a drought. Feeds butterflies and bees during the hottest months. But if you leave the seedheads up, you may be lucky enough to have goldfinches in the winter. And more coneflower in the Spring.

Bottlebrush Blazing Star

Bottlebrush Blazing Star

Gorgeous, tall, purple spiky blooms feed butterflies in late summer and birds in the winter. Loves nothing more thank to bask in a dry, sunny spot.
