We're getting married!

We met at STRIVE Village, where Ryan worked as a personal trainer. Christy was sent in by a friend and was matched with Ryan. After a couple workouts, to her friends, Christy referred to Ryan as her "boo" before he had even asked her out on a date.

On the 2-year anniversary of our first date in Chicago ~ where we spent over 8 hours talking on the "beach" by Lake Michigan, followed by Chipotle and Coors Lights (naturally) on Ryan's apartment's rooftop, topped off by Chicago summer fireworks ~ Ryan took Christy on a Monday-night date; she knew something was up. Ryan proposed on the T. Tyler Potterfield Memorial Bridge over the James River in downtown Richmond and Christy said YES. Afterwards, we had tacos and Coronas at a Mexican restaurant on the canal walk ~ a step-up from Chipotle :) ~. (The Cubs were playing on the restaurant TV when we walked in which definitely felt like a small sign.)
