The epitome of a "Covid couple", Christy and Matt began their story in the middle of the pandemic. In a time before the vaccine, Christy and Matt braved their first date fully masked and social distancing. As time went on, they became each other's bubble. Luckily, they both liked spending time together so much, they didn't mind only being with each other. As they became closer and the world opened up, they went on many adventures together regularly visiting each other's families and eventually farther afield. They slowly built a life together, first adopting their sweet puppy, Penny, and then buying a house with a big backyard for her to explore. Then, one evening, during one of Matt and Christy's favorite traditions together (Sunday dinner), Matt popped the question. Of course, Christy said yes and now they are ready to officially become a family! In a full circle moment, two days after the proposal, Christy tested positive for Covid. What a pandemic love story indeed. :)
