How We Met.....

Wow, the story of us, where to start?

In the beginning (James Earl Jones Voice) God created the heaven and earth...hmm that might be a little too far back. Let’s fast forward a bit to March 7, 1977 I was born and few years later October 15 1981 Christy was born ahh maybe we need to fast forward to the day we met. Monday March 19, 2012 started out as just another manic Monday and I really just wished it was Sunday because that’s my funday! It turned out that it would be the best day of my life and the start of an amazing journey. I had a little car dealership and as chance would have it Christy was in the market for a car. She drives up to the dealership...which was really just a parking lot behind an old Gym . She steps out of a car nicer than anything I was selling and slow motion walks towards me, She was wearing these little white shorts, high heel shoes and straight out of hollywood sunglasses. My heart started racing, palms sweater then normal I reach out my hand to greet this living Goddess “I’m Shawn we spoke on the phone” I said with the cracking voice of a teenage boy with a crush. Christy replies “Is this your ride?” Yeah would you like me to take you for a test ride?” “No” She says “I want to test drive it” “Can you drive stick?” “No but I can learn if you teach me” Hold up I think that’s from boyz in the hood. I can’t remember what was said but I do remember being smitten. She didn’t buy a car from me that day I guess she didn’t like the car with bullet holes in it. Over the next few months we grew closer, and over the next few years fell in love, it wasn’t easy but nothing worth having ever is. We did the break up to make up dance until I finally figured out how to not be a big dummy. It’s been just over 6 years since that by chance meeting in the parking lot. I’ve never loved anyone the way I love her and I’m more than lucky...I’m blessed that she would choose to spend the rest of her life with me. I look forward to waking up each morning next to the future Mrs Simmons.
