Johnny and I met through mutual friends in 2005. We dated for several years but eventually went our separate ways. After starting a new job in 2016 we reconnected. I truly believe that destiny brought Johnny and I together. Considering he was living in Virginia and I in Boston it would seem unlikely we would cross paths. We’re thrilled that the universe brought us together and that we get to live our Happily Ever After.

Let’s just say there was not really a “proposal.” It wasn’t necessary since we both knew instinctively that we belonged together. Johnny made a huge move to Boston in January 2018 and after speaking about our future together and what we both wanted, we decided to get married! We’re truly blessed to have each other and to have the support of our families. Johnny and I can’t wait to celebrate the big day altogether with you on August 31st!

We are mostly excited to have our friends and family from near and far come together on our special day. As you may know, Johnny and I are both Portuguese and are excited to welcome our family traveling from all over Europe here to celebrate with us. It will be wonderful to have many of his family members from Virginia and Maryland travel to Boston for the first time!
