At the feasting glen at the PA Renaissance Faire. Please meet us at the fountain infront of the wine shop at 11:45.
No, not really. The faire isn't the best place for fancy clothes, wear sneakers and dress comfortably for the season. If you'd like, feel free to wear a costume, but that is entirely optional and up to you.
Yes. Admission to the faire for everyone at the ceremony is included. Alex and I will distribute tickets after the ceremony. Should you wish to purchase food inside the faire, that is not included, but food after the ceremony while we are in the feasting Glen is taken care of.
Yes. But please be aware of where you are standing or sitting. Please do not wander the Glen trying to get the best shot. We will have someone recording the event and someone taking pictures for us. We will post pictures for anyone to see, should they want to, in the days following the ceremony. Also, cameras are allowed inside the faire, please feel free to take as many as you wish.
No but there is a registry. We do not expect a gift from anyone other than the gift of your presence. Should you wish to get us something, do so because you want to, not out of obligation. The only thing we want is your time, love and support. However, if you should choose to get us something, we were asked to make a registry. https://www.amazon.com/wedding/alex-hause-christy-schuler-reading-september-2022/registry/1LC4O41UQAO4T
Yes, but you have to pay for extra tickets yourself. visit the pa renaissance festivle http://www.parenfaire.com/buytickets.html to purchase extra tickets. Please keep in mind that for those buying extra tickets, you will also have to provide your own food for those with the extra tickets.
Yes, absolutely! If you have to leave the faire grounds for any reason, stop at the entrance and get your hand stamped so you can get back in.
No. We are choosing not to serve alcohol at the reception. Should you choose to drink, you will need a hand stamp before entering the faire. Please, if you choose to drink, do so responsibly. Have someone who can drive you home afterward. There is also a wine shop right outside the faire that sells local made brews.
No, you do not. The Shire is a large place. There are many shows and shops. Lots to see and do. Do not feel like you have to hang around with us all day if you would rather explore on your own. The point of the day is to gather in the name of love and enjoy yourselves!
No, not really. Neither one of us follow a strict religious doctrine, se we are going to try and keep it neutral. That being said, there may be references to Norse beliefs, gods, and customs, but it won't be a strict Norse ceremony.
