Bride
The one getting married to Ed!!
Groom
Christine's winner winner chicken dinner.
Maid of Honor
We first met at church when I was in Kindergarten and she was in 2nd grade! I remember growing up with her playing with barbie dolls, "house" (to the girls - IYKYK), talking about boys, stressing about school/our parents, etc. Julie has become a sister to me over the years (I really mean it) and has been my steady prayer partner through many seasons in life. Sometimes I feel like we're way too comfortable with each other. She's someone I love and can talk to even after months of not catching up!
Best Man
My best friend, Woojin! The first memory I have is when we ran into each other on Cornell campus and he insisted my name was Daniel. We've really been through a lot in our friendship over the years, but I know that he always has my back and is caring for me. Sometimes it really amazes me how different we are, but that still our love can covers those differences. Even though I've finally come to a place of acceptance that I'm the wife of our relationship, I consider myself really blessed to have a lifelong friend and companion in him. And ladies, he's single!
Bridesmaid
I call this girl Dexter, sometimes Jacqueline depending on her mood that day - sometimes she's dull, other times she's super sassy. Hannah is one of the most shy yet crazy people I've ever met and we definitely bounce off each other's energy 24/7. She's someone who gets me, knows me and tries to understand me. Really, I'll be having a bad day and I'll just laugh when I see her face LOL. We wrestle a lot (like physically) but make sure we don't actually hurt each other (: She feels like my biological sister because of what our relationship looks like and will continue to be.. hehe
Groomsman
My first Christian brother, Hammy. It feels like I've been through hell and back with Hammy and yet he's still a ever faithful brother. With a heart of gold, this guy is most faithful, stubborn rock I've ever met. Just a tip with Ham: don't ever eat anything he insists you to eat!
Bridesmaid
Janet LOL This crazy girl has been through it all with me -- from me getting confused about Ed to my courtship with him. Often times she's been my go-to person for advice and help in guiding me through my thoughts.. I appreciate her so sooo much! Sometimes she'll say very inappropriate things, but she also keeps it REAL. She's also really weird and laughs at odd memes yikes.
Groomsman
My biggest fan, Josh. And when I say biggest fan, I really mean my biggest fan. He can cheer me up no matter what with his goofiness and his dongseng charm. He's always a source of encouragement and love for me, and I'm deeply thankful for him. Ask him to do an impression of me! It's probably one of his favorite pastimes.
Bridesmaid
HAHAHAH omg. This girl is the most emotional and bizarre person I've ever encountered in my life, but has the most sensitive and caring heart at the same time. As much as she's come to me for words of encouragement and advice, she's often reached out her hand to me first to listen to me and hear me out. I felt oddly pursued by her throughout the beginning years of college, and often felt awkward/uncomfortable, BUT I've learned to appreciate her type of love for me. She's a special one!
Groomsman
My reminder of God's faithfulness, Kyle. I remember our first dinner at Koko's together and just talking about upbringings and Jesus. That led to four more years of these weekly conversations about the reality and messiness of faith. That faith isn't something that's perfectly presenting in a nice box. I'm deeply thankful for Kyle because his fighting spirits teaches me to fight too!
Bridesmaid
Eunice is MY HOME GIRL who's been incredibly supporting and loving throughout my years in college. She seems to appreciate me a lot (which confuses me at times LOL), but definitely makes me appreciate and love her all the more. She always has a sound mind and tries to understand my thoughts/perspectives which is really a hard trait to find in someone. She is so precious to me and I'm so thankful that she lives in NC too!!
Groomsman
My little brother, Hojun. Fun fact: Hojun, Janet, Christine, and I were in a group chat where Christine and I would really get to know each other. We admit that we often used Hojun and Janet LOL but I am very thankful for this guy. Fun fact #2: this guy always talks with his hands in a unique way so we call him Hojun hands. Keep an eye out next time he talks!
