Yes, the dress code is formal. Traditional Indian attire is warmly welcomed, and guests are encouraged to wear elegant ethnic wear if they’d like—such as sarees, lehengas, or sherwanis. For those not wearing Indian attire, formal wear is perfect. That means: For women: A floor-length gown, dressy midi, or a pantsuit. For men: A suit and tie or a tuxedo.
