Do you have any hotel recommendations?
Answer
A block of rooms has been reserved at the JW Marriott in downtown Chicago. Please see the travel page for discounted room rates and additional information. The deadline to reserve a room in the room block is June 20, 2025. There are also several other hotels located within walking distance of the venue.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
Our wedding will be a formal affair. Tuxedos, matching suits and ties, long formal gowns, dressy jumpsuits, fancy cocktail dresses, or equivalent elegant attire are encouraged. We invite you to express your individual style while staying within the guidelines of formal attire. We can’t wait to celebrate with you in style!

How do I get to The Library at 190 S. LaSalle? Is there parking available?
Answer
We highly suggest our local guests take advantage of public transportation or a ridesharing service to and from the venue. The closest el stop is the brown/orange/pink line at Quincy. If you prefer to drive, there are several parking garages located near the venue. We recommend downloading the SpotHero app and searching 190 S. LaSalle. If you are staying overnight at the hotel, you can either use SpotHero or valet is available at the hotel for $85 per day.

What time should we arrive at The Library?
Answer
Please plan to arrive at the venue between 5:00pm and 5:20pm. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30 and it takes a few minutes to reach the venue by elevator.

What should we do while we are in Chicago?
Answer
There are so many incredible things to do and see in our beautiful city! We HIGHLY recommend taking a Chicago Architectural Boat Tour. Check out The Art Institute of Chicago, The Field Museum, The Planetarium, The Aquarium, or The Museum of Science and Industry. We also have several beautiful public parks including Millennium Park (home of The Bean), Maggie Daly Play Park, Lincoln Park, and the Lincoln Park Zoo.
