Wedding Party

Meet our family and friends who are walking down the aisle with us.

Rosa Ermmarino

Matron of Honor

Rosie, the vibrant and vivacious soul, has been an important part of my life since our high school days at Glen Cove High. From the moment we met in 2010, our bond has only grown stronger, cemented by shared experiences and endless laughter. Reflecting on our journey together, there are countless memories, but if I had to choose a moment my favorite would have to be our girl’s night turned wine nights. Endlessly talking for hours about our futures and memories of the past, I will forever cherish the moments I get to come over and have our glass. Choosing Rosie as my Matron of Honor was the easiest decision I've ever made. From our days in kick-line to the present, she has been my unwavering support, my confidante, and my best friend. She embodies the true meaning of friendship, and I can't imagine embarking on this next chapter of my life without her by my side, sharing in every moment of love and celebration.

Elsie Goodman

Bridesmaid

Elsie has been my right hand since 2002. When I was new to the neighborhood, I told my mom I would never find a friend who lives right next door like my old home in Brooklyn. My mom forced me outside and I waited. I met Hanna first, who said I was closer in age to her friend Elsie and gave her a call. Five minutes later, Elsie walked up the street with a blow-up ball in her hand and asked if we wanted to play ball. I smiled, and we agreed. From there, it was history. We grew up together, sharing memories of middle school and high school. I remember our yearly visits to see the rockets for her birthday and trips to fao Schwarz to pick out our bears. We were there for each other through it all. Our friend anniversary is August 17th, and no matter where we were in the world, we made sure we picked up the phone and gave each other a call. We may not see each other every day and sometimes go months without hanging out, but when we do get together, it feels like no time has passed. It's as if we pick up right where we left off, like we haven't missed a single day. I picked Elsie to be my bridesmaid because she has always been the friend who takes me out of my comfort zone, makes me laugh, and tells me to suck it up when I cry. I cannot imagine not having her by my side on my special day.

Jasmine Jimenez

Bridesmaid

Jasmine, my cousin and lifelong family, has been a steady presence in my life since the very beginning. As a sonographer, she possesses a unique blend of compassion and expertise, mirroring the warmth and dedication she brings to our relationship. Our bond runs deep, pieced together by countless shared experiences and unforgettable memories. Among them, my favorite would have to be our annual summer vacations. I never had a sister but she has filled that space for me. From exploring new destinations to basking in the sun-kissed days, these journeys have created lasting bonds that time cannot erase. Choosing Jasmine as my bridesmaid was not only a natural choice but a heartfelt one. She has been there for me through every triumph and trial, offering support, endless laughter, and a shoulder to lean on in times of need. As I embark on this new chapter of my life, I am comforted to know that Jasmine will be by my side, sharing in the joy, the tears, and the countless memories yet to come.

Krystal Izquierdo

Bridesmaid

Krystal, holds a special place in my heart that words cannot fully express. As a Nurse with aspirations to become a Family Nurse Practitioner, Krystal's dedication to caring for others is a testament to her compassionate nature and unwavering commitment to making a difference in the lives of those around her. Together, we've weathered storms and celebrated triumphs, finding strength in each other's presence during life's trials and tribulations. Amidst the ups and downs, there's one memory that shines brightly in my mind – our unforgettable Sundays at her house on Gates. Filled with homemade food, my uncle dancing, and endless laughs, it was a celebration every Sunday on Gates that I will cherish forever. Choosing Krystal as my bridesmaid was a decision fueled by love and gratitude. She's more than just a friend; she's the little sister I never had, my rock, and my confidante. As I embark on this journey into marriage, I can't imagine taking this step without her by my side

Annalisa Graziosi

Bridesmaid

I met Lisa in 2009 at Glen Cove High. We first crossed paths during lunch when a friend invited me to sit with them and introduce me to Lisa. Nervously, I agreed, hoping this Lisa girl would be nice and not feel like I was intruding or "stealing" her friend. Boy, was I wrong! We hit it off immediately, and my favorite part of freshman year became lunchtime, catching up with Lisa. We spent almost every weekend hanging out at her house, and our friendship grew stronger through girls' nights turned wine nights, and our summer vacations to Atlantic City from when we were 21 to when we retired AC at 24. Lisa has been my best friend since 2009, and I can't imagine my life without her. I am so excited to share this special moment together and look forward too many more moments in our lives.

Jennifer Petulla

Bridesmaid

I first met Jen in 2010 when my friend Rosie introduced me to her little sister. Jen was Rosie's glue. From mall dates to girls' nights, where there was Rosie, there was Jen. She is the funniest, sweetest, and most honest person I have ever met. Over the years, girls' nights evolved into wine nights, and Jen and I grew closer. We shared everything with each other. Eventually, it got to the point where if Rosie came by herself, I'd ask, "Um, hello, why isn't Jen here?" Her vibrant soul filled the room, and the many laughs we shared have made her one of my best friends. I am so blessed to have Jen in my life and to count her as one of my right-hand girls. I can't wait for the many more memories we will share.

Steven Engelmann

Best Man

Some say he looks like me, but I don't see. As two brothers who have always been so different from one another, a pair known to bump heads, it has allowed us to grow stronger relationship that has brought us closer over the years. Growing up and living in the same house together for 30 years, you get to know someone really well. I can confidently say Steven has learned ALOT about me. He likely knows me better than anyone and despite how different we are, I am truly proud of the person he is. I really cannot put it into words how proud I am to have Steven, my little brother, standing by my side on the day of the wedding. (Let's hope there's no softball that day...) As someone that I know I can rely on, someone that knows me and how I will react before I react, I can trust that he will have my back in that moment and every one thereafter.

Christian Mora

Groomsman

Meeting Christian before the rest of the family, he was incredibly welcoming, especially to the guy who was dating his little sister. Since then he has always shown his kind heart and positive attitude. Living in the apartment below Zolinda, Christian and I regularly see each other and it has felt like we are already family. Whether we are in casual conversation on the front stoop or going out to eat at one of the many spots Christian has discovered in Brooklyn, its easy to pick up where we left off. Between talking about what needs to be done in the house to 'spruce it up,' giving each other fixer-upper advice, and busting our humps to tranform the backyard, I can say we have built a brotherly bond and memories that we can laugh about together.

Andrew Mora

Groomsman

Andrew is a vital part of our wedding party, not just because he is Zolinda's brother, but because of the genuine friendship and warmth he has extended to me over the past nearly four years. His openness and kindness have made me feel truly welcome. Our Sunday dinners with the family, filled with endless conversations, and our 'spirited' Mario Party competitions are moments I always look forward to and cherish. I am blessed to have Andrew in my life and am excited to be able to officially call him family.
