Chris and I met last November, and from the very beginning, there was a peace and certainty neither of us could ignore. By our third date, we knew. It felt less like meeting a stranger and more like recognizing the person God had been preparing us for all along. Before we met, both of our lives had taken paths that shaped us in ways we could not have fully understood at the time. Chris spent years moving around, building a life through hard work, discipline, and perseverance. I walked through seasons that grew my faith, strengthened me, and brought me closer to God. Looking back now, we can see how the Lord was shaping us, refining us, and preparing our hearts for one another long before we ever knew it. When we found each other, so many prayers, lessons, hopes, and quiet seasons of waiting began to make sense. We didn’t just find love; we found a deep sense of home, partnership, and purpose. From the beginning, our relationship has been marked by peace, gratitude, and the feeling that God was not only in it, but had gone before us. It has been beautiful to see how quickly and naturally our lives began to fit together, including meeting each other’s families and friends who feel like family. Their love, support, and presence have become such an important part of our story. Our story may have moved quickly by the world’s standards, but to us, it has felt steady, clear, and covered in God’s timing. We believe our love is a gift, one we do not take lightly, and we are so thankful He brought us together at exactly the right time. As we begin our marriage, we do so with full hearts, knowing that God’s perfect timing is never wrong. We are grateful for the journey that led us here and so excited to celebrate the blessing of our union with the people we love most.
