How do I arrange a transfer from the airport to the hotel?

Answer

If you’re staying at Gokulam Grand, you can request a hotel transfer when confirming your room booking. Uber is also very accessible in Kumarakom. If you are staying elsewhere, your hotel should also be able to arrange a transfer. The charge for the hotel transfer starts from 3800 INR ($43) for a regular sedan.

What visa do I need?

Answer

Please use the links below to determine which visa you need. Almost all nationalities will need a visa. For a 30 day e-visa (the most common) you must apply within 30 days of arrival and no later than 4 days prior to arrival. E-visa is recommended for almost everyone, but a paper visa is an option and last 10 years

Do I need to take any vaccines prior to arriving?

Answer

What’s the best way to get to the wedding venue?

Answer

If you’re staying nearby and need transportation to the hotel, Uber is easily available in Kumarakom.

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

Traditional Indian attire is encouraged but any semi-formal wear is also welcome. Bright and festive colors are preferred. Black and white are generally avoided for weddings. Two good sites to buy clothes are: https://www.perniaspopupshop.com/ and https://www.etsy.com/
