Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Help us get the party started as scheduled! We recommend that you arrive 30 minutes before the start of the ceremony to make sure everyone is seated on time. Ceremony start time is 4:00pm so please plan to arrive by 3:30pm.

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

Free parking is provided at the castle in a private lot.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outside on the castle grounds; we recommend flat-soled shoes or wedges to avoid sinking into the grass. With our wedding taking place in the evening at the end of October, we suggest you dress accordingly; a light coat for men or a shawl for women. The reception will be held indoors. In the event of inclement weather ie: rain, snow, etc. the ceremony will be moved indoors at the same location.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the wedding party will be taking pictures. Guests will head into the castle where we will be serving finger foods and beverages during a cocktail hour. We will be joining the cocktail hour once we wrap up pictures!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. The only children attending the event will be those in the wedding party. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our celebration is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation.

When is the RSVP deadline? Can I submit it online?

Answer

Yes. There is an RSVP deadline of September 24, 2026 although the sooner the better! You can submit your response here on our wedding website under the RSVP tab.

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

We have a hotel block at the Holiday Inn Express Branford, CT. However, there are a limited number of rooms available on this block so we would recommend booking sooner rather than later. There are other nearby hotels in New Haven and the surrounding areas of Branford. For those of you traveling to Connecticut, Air BNB and VRBO are other great options for larger groups.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Guests will be responsible for getting themselves to and from the venue. If you plan on utilizing the open bar, we ask that you drink responsibly and plan ahead for transportation. Uber, Lyft, taxi services, or a designated driver are all easy and readily available options. We want everyone to enjoy the night and celebrate with us but we also want everyone to be safe!

Where are you registered?

Answer

We are so thankful you will be joining us for this celebration of our love. In lieu of a traditional registry, we set up a cash fund registry for those who would like to contribute to us! You will find that here on our website under the "Registry" tab. An area will also be set up at the venue for anyone who wishes to bring cards the day of the wedding.

Will dinner be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Answer

While cocktail hour will serve light passed hors d’oeuvres and appetizers, dinner will consist of a variety of foods at buffet stations. We also invite you to toast to our nuptials with a curated selection of wine, beer and our signature cocktails/mocktails from our open bar! Please be aware that the venue has a strict "No outside food or beverage policy". We ask all guests to be respectful and adhere to this policy. Also, if you have any food allergies we need to be aware of, please let us know ASAP.
