It all began in the summer of 2014, during a high school driver’s education class. That’s when Rebekah first laid eyes on Christopher. She thought he was cute and instantly knew she wanted to be part of his life. When the instructor asked, “Who’s a morning person and able to focus first thing in the morning?” Chris’s hand shot up — and although Rebekah wasn’t exactly telling the truth, hers went up right after his. Luckily, their little bit of fate landed them in the same driving group. After that very first class, Chris offered Rebekah a ride home. They exchanged numbers and quickly became known to each other as “Chris, the boy from Driver’s Ed” and “Rebekah, the girl from Driver’s Ed.” Six months later, after being spotted between classes holding hands, a friend asked if they were dating. Rebekah looked at Chris and said, “Well, are we?” Chris smiled and replied, “I guess so.” And just like that, their story officially began. They have been together ever since. Fast forward almost 11 years — they’ve built a beautiful life together: a cozy home, an adorable dog named Lila, and one small but mighty guinea pig. The only thing left in Rebekah’s eyes was to finally take Chris’s last name. On a spontaneous trip to St. Louis in October 2025, Chris professed his love and asked Rebekah to be his wife, surrounded by beauty in a butterfly garden. High school sweethearts turned lifelong partners and now, they’re getting married!
