FAQs

Question

Q: What’s the dress code?

Answer

A: Dressy casual to semi-formal. Think church attire or something you'd wear to a nice dinner. Feel free to come comfortable but polished we just want you to feel good and enjoy the day with us!

Question

Q: Will there be food and drinks?

Answer

A: Yes! We’ll have a full meal, a variety of teas, alcohol-free mocktails, and a few light drink options. Come hungry!

Question

Q: Can I bring a guest?

Answer

A: If your invitation included a plus one, absolutely. If you're unsure, feel free to reach out and ask us we just want to make sure we’ve planned enough seats and food for everyone.

Question

Q: Are kids welcome?

Answer

A: We love your little ones and they’re absolutely welcome! That said, we do have limited space and a set guest count for food service. If your children will be joining you, please just let us know in advance so we can plan accordingly.

Question

Q: What time should I arrive?

Answer

A: The ceremony will begin at 6.00 pm so we kindly ask that guests arrive no later than 5.45pm to get seated and settled. ( just in case I put 5.30 in invitations)

Question

Q: What if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

A: We’ll do our best to accommodate! Please let us know ahead of time if you have any specific dietary needs.

Question

Q: Is there parking available?

Answer

A: Yes, there is a paved parking lot at Norfolk Botanical Garden that provides ample parking for guests and they also are providing some trams/shuttle available for transportation to the Ceremony area.

Question

Q: Can I take photos or videos?

Answer

A: We’re hiring a professional photographer to capture the day, but you’re welcome to take photos, just please be mindful during the ceremony. We'd also love it if you share your pics with us after!
