Brooke is Nadia's cousin biologically, but her sister above all else. Brooke was born and raised in Chicago, just a train ride away from Ann Arbor. Brooke is an excellent tour guide and has shown Nadia how wonderful the busy city can be through bike rides to Lake Michigan, interesting historic facts, great restaurant choices, music, dancing, and parks with amazing views. Brooke has been by Nadia's side since they were babies and couldn't imagine a wedding day without her love, comfort, and support.

Zack Slizewski

Best Man

Chris's longest and best friend from childhood. Zack and Chris have known each other since pre-school. They grew up together and shared many interests in music, video games, and sports. They have spent countless hours skateboarding and goofing off to this day. Zack, a.k.a. Ski, has always been a major support to Chris throughout the struggles they have faced together and separately. A true Best Man for this pivotal moment in their journey as friends.

Sarah Mayfield

Bridesmaid

Sarah and Nadia have been friends for 20 years and in stride to last forever. She has become close family, so much so, where Nadia has integrated into hers. They met freshman year of High School in civics class, and man, they could not have disliked each other more! Luckily, their love for lacrosse demolished those harsh feelings and blossomed into an amazing friendship. Sarah is loving, loyal, and will answer a call in any hour of the night. Sarah has inspired Nadia to be herself in any situation, whether it's to be goofy, silly, or just having fun with life. It is an honor to have Sarah by our side, sharing this wonderful new journey with us.

Ryan Lucchessi

Ryan and Chris have been friends since early elementary school. From boy scouts, Rec Ed sports, and neighborhood shenanigans, to home building, and mastering their construction careers, Ryan has always been a loyal and encouraging friend. Cheezy has also become an instrumental uncle in watching after Nadia and Chris's fur babies throughout the years. Ryan is one of the most solid groomsman this side of the Mississippi and we couldn't be more honored to have his company.

Emily Whiting

Bridesmaid

Emily, otherwise known in our friend group as "Ma Emily", will not only be celebrating our wedding with us, but also her BIRTHDAY! Nadia met Emily though Chris about 8 years ago and they hit it off instantly. Since then, Emily has invited us to her annual Memorial Day camping trip and we've been camping together throughout Michigan ever since. Ma Emily is an amazing mother to a beautiful baby boy, Andrew, and loving dog Molson Golden (Habanero's best friend). She has helped Nadia and Chris build their relationship stronger and more solid with her ability to be kind, nurturing, hilarious, and down to earth. This day will be awesome with Emily by our side, I could not be accomplished without her!

Jeremy Whiting

Groomsman

Jeremy and Chris have been friends since elementary school. They spent many summers playing backyard wiffleball, sports video games, sharing CDs and musical influences, with everything in-between. Jeremy has been an impactful part of Chris's life as they have been bandmates since middle school. They have accomplished creative feats in music and have made two successful albums with their guitarist, Sophocles Sopanos, in their band Jeb Busch Lite. Jeremy and Chris also camp regularly with their significant others, spending countless hours adventuring and exploring Michigan and Canada. Jer has been more than an INSTRUMENTAL in part to the events proceeding, no pun intended.

Mike Boehl

Bridesman

Mike and Nadia became instant friends while working at Jimmy John's 13 year ago and shortly after that, became roommates and best friends. Mike is an amazing, supportive friend who constantly opens Nadia's eyes to new worlds with a wealth of knowledge. He is a brilliant, inventive, and creative cook who loves making and sharing delicious meals, and is welcomed to anytime. Mike shares Nadia's love for cats, dancing, and being outdoors. We couldn't imagine celebrating this day without him by our side, enjoying the day with me (Nadia)-and dancing!

Michael Kulick

Mike and Chris have known each other since early elementary Rec Ed sports, specifically baseball. They have shared a love of baseball, skateboarding, and music until this day. Throughout their own journeys to different cities and across different states, they have remained in contact and supportive of each other. Chris had the honor to be Mike's Best man in his wedding. Mike is a groomsman of choice and one to be reckoned with.

Meagan Keeler

Meagan and Nadia have known each other for about 20 years through her sister, Sarah. Before the days of adulthood when Sarah and Nadia were able to hang out every evening at her mom's house, Meagan and Nadia developed a friendship of their own. It has been inspiring to watch her blossom into a well rounded, "thinks she's funny", caring, mother of two beautiful babies who we love to hang out with. Meagan is family, but we are very similar. So happy to share this day with her by our side.

Jake and Chris have been friends since early elementary school. The two have played Rec Ed sports, biked the neighborhood, and grew together as musicians and bassists in school orchestra. Jake and Chris's love for music has been a staple in their relationship going to festivals together and jamming freely in their spare time. They remain close friends to this day.

Katie Swanson

Katie is Chris's sister who lives Up North. Katie is very welcoming to Nadia's family when we visit her Up North and go on adventures. Katie has been amazing throughout this whole wedding experience, and it in an honor that she wanted to be involved. Katie is a strong, do-it-yourself woman who inspires Nadia to workout and push yourself to be the best version possible. I am so happy to be a part of her family and have her by our side to celebrate this day with us.

Daniel is Nadia's brother and an exceptional groomsman. Daniel has welcomed Chris into the family with open arms. They have gone on several family vacations and always manage to split away for a few hours to get into some sort of trouble. They also share a deep passion for music and have been to some incredible concerts like Bruce Springsteen, Parcels, The Grateful Dead, and Foo Fighters. Many more concerts together are foreseen in their future.

Jake and Chris have been friends since High School. They have spent many hours in the garage tinkering with their cars, watching Seinfeld and sports, and maturing into successful adults. Jake has also become great friends with Nadia through Chris. The three have been to many Tiger baseball outings, camping, cooking, and explored life's perspectives in deep conversations. Nadia and Chris couldn't be more honored to have their honorary third wheel to officiate and welcome them into their next chapter in life.
