Wedding Party

Meet the friends and family standing up with us as we do this thing! Also, witness the differences in writing styles and succinctness of the happy couple.

Giovanna "BFD" DiFalco

Maid of Honor

Gio and Molly met during their last year of college, so they had to condense four years worth of shenanigans into nine months. Independent sources would confirm they succeeded. Gio is responsible for some of the biggest laughs Molly has ever had, getting Molly out of her comfort zone on multiple occasions, and helping Molly become the truest version of herself. And also dubbing her “Napkin Head.”

Devin Pritchard

Bridesmaid

Devin and Molly met during their freshman year of high school and had the privilege of being in a Wildhorse group together. They have known each other for 16 years and both been many versions of themselves along way, yet still friends who are closer than ever. If you need anyone to yell at a room, find Devin!

Sophia Kjelland

Bridesmaid

Sophia and Molly met when they lived together Molly's junior year of college. They liked it so much they did it again the next year! Sophia has put up with so much over the years I am surprised she still likes me, let alone lived with me for two years. When I tackled her in our apartment hallway and she still talked to me after, I knew I had a friend for life!

Brandon Hunt

Bridesman

Brandon and Molly met through work Molly's senior year of college. Brandon's love for a good prank and passion for cats made them fast friends as well as a nuisance. Whether he’s making sure I ate dinner before GA meetings or changing my laptop background to Tom Brady when I leave it unattended, Brandon always makes me smile!

Nicolette Hunt

Bridesmaid

Nicolette and Molly met during Molly's senior year of college. She not only puts up with her husband's and my enjoyment of harassing others, but is a consistent positive presence in the lives of Molly and Chris. Nicolette handles every life milestone with kindness and thoughtful reflection, which is one of the many reasons both Molly and Chris practically have a notebook documenting her wisdoms.

Brittany Campbell

Best Woman

Brittany and Christopher have always been tight-knit siblings. As you might expect, being the younger by three years, Brittany has put up with (and given a lot of) grief. Nevertheless, she remains part of the bedrock to Christopher's support and challenge network. They text daily, video-call whenever mom is around, and share drinks/stories over euchre whenever they are in the same state. Be it heartfelt advice, unwavering support, a similar (though slightly shorter) perspective on an issue, or a funny/gross nursing story, Brittany is a dynamic and critical person in Christopher's life.

Brandon Hosler

Best Man

Since Brandon's family moved a couple blocks away from Chris as they started the 3rd grade, they became fast friends and explored all of the known universe together - for those of you wondering, that includes about 20% of southwest Ohio. They road the bus, went to class, got into camping/fishing, and even played some sports together (upon seeing the differences in stature, you'll realize they did not play the exact same sports often). All through high school and college, they stayed close, and if stretches of time went by without much contact, they could reconnect as if a day hadn't passed. Brandon is a major part of who Chris turned out to be, as Brandon was part of the foundation of Chris's personal and social growth across the decades. That is why he is sharing the best-person responsibilities with Chris's sister.

Ryan Labrecque

Groomsman

Ryan and Chris started at Portland State University at the same time in 2015, where they became fast friends. They have a lot in common, but it definitely didn't hurt that Ryan just moved from Cincinnati where he earned his PhD. For years, they excelled in their profession, and bonded over IPAs, the Bengals, Olympic lifting, and an occasional Redbull for the late work/drinkin' nights. Even after Ryan left for sandier, warmer, and muggier pastures at the University of Central Florida (lame) and RTI (less lame), they remain close. Thick as super nerdy thieves can get, they work together on projects frequently, and count the days to the next conference-based beer. Ryan has been, and continues to be a major part of Chris's personal and professional growth.

Ben Hanna

Groomsman

Bonding over their appreciation for classic rock, vinyl records, Nintendo, and whiskey, Ben and his many faces has been an important friend and sounding board for Chris since aught-3. Ben has long been a key figure in Chris's social support and challenge networks. He always provides straight thoughts about anything he's asked with the delivery that is as smooth as a shot of Jameson or a warm summertime slap to the face. They maintain their ties with an annual gathering of the minds in Huron, Ohio where the worst of their collective friends get together to destroy a few more brain cells than they did the year before. Over the many years, Ben has always been the Sonny to Chris's Cher.

Carson Gray

Groomsman

Starting college in a term other than Fall can make it difficult to find and meet friends. So, when Carson asked Chris to leave the sanctity of watching the Rocky movies in his dorm room to go to lunch with him and his group of friends, the world got substantially brighter. Not just because that's how you're supposed to watch movies (in the dark) but also, socially. Carson provided a much needed social and emotional foundation for Chris over the next 20 years. He will go out of his way to do what is needed for his friends, even if that means mapping an oceanic coastline - though it's really for everyone's benefit. One of the best of the group fondly referred to as "the Worst," Carson has been and remains a critical person in Campbell's life.

John Brewer

Groomsman

When he's not wagging his finger in people's faces, or eating a 5lb weightlifting plate for more iron in his diet, John and his family are busy taking over the "world" (i.e., Dublin, OH). Although he drives trains for a living (you should ask him about it), he moonlights as a 2 AM text-messaging DJ to all of his sleeping friends. Chris met John in college, and following their time in the dorms, they were roommates until John thought it was cool to graduate and get a job...whatever brah. John was one of the few who have enough patience to listen (and thoughtfully respond) to all of Campbell's mundane, and unnecessary conversational questions - c'mon, we can all think of at least one. John fielded them all, and still wanted to live with him in spite of Campbell's taste in curtains - a true test of sanity. John has always been and remains an important friend for Chris.

Matt Cain

Officiant

Matt and Chris met in college, and is definitively among The Worst. Over the last several years, Matt and Chris became closer and found even greater connection in enjoying The Hold Steady and the courtship of their respective partners, probably in that order. Ellie and Molly fit right in with their sense of humor and thick sarcasm, and thicker skin. When considering an officiant, we thought of fewer other people than Matt. With a mind like a steel trap, the wit of Betty White, and the charm of a grizzled Irishman lost at sea, Matt has all the traits that make a great friend and even better ceremony MC. There are good ships and there are wood ships, these ships they sail and tame the sea. But by God the best ships are our friendships, and may they always be. Slainte mhath.
