Chris and Marta met all the way back in high school in 2017. They both attended Fremd High School but they didn’t meet until they attended the same Holy Family Kairos retreat their junior year #K23! They cheered each other on during their sport games as Chris was on Varsity football and Marta was on Varsity soccer. Marta finally had to pull the first romantic move (arm around the shoulder) and the relationship started to grow from there! Chris begged Marta to go to Prom junior and senior year and she said yes twice! They attended different universities but remained strong and visited each other often. They continued distance through Marta’s PT school and even now in her residency in Utah. But they will end the long distance streak soon! They are overjoyed with the idea of establishing a life together and creating more memories in the future. They love each other so much!
