Hello friends and family! We are moving forward with our wedding on 7/3/20. We are so excited to begin this next chapter of our lives together. Kansas City's shelter in place order expired on 5/15 and we can't wait to reunite with family and friends to celebrate this special occasion. We ask that only those who are healthy and feeling well attend our big day. We can assure proper sanitation of the event space will be preformed and hand sanitizer will be available to you. We of course respect your decision if you decide not to attend our wedding. We appreciate your support and prayers from afar. We look forward to celebrating and we hope you can make it :)
What an absolutely insane week it has been regarding COVID-19. I never imagined I would have to be writing this. Due to the new CDC guidelines recommending the cancellation of social gatherings of 50 or more persons, Kansas City has strictly implemented this rule for the next 8 weeks. The last few days have been very stressful and seem so unfair. Chris and I are so bummed that we will no longer be able to host our wedding and reception on 3/27/20. We have put a lot of time and planning into this day and were so excited to celebrate with our family and friends. We are currently trying to navigate the next steps of rescheduling our wedding and reception. As difficult as this is, God tells us “do not fear, for I am with you”. Chris and I are counting our blessings and although this seems like such a big deal at the moment, our love will not be effected by our inability to host our wedding on 3/27. I am so thankful for Christopher who is my strength and keeps me grounded. To all our family and friends- more information to come as soon as we have it!! Also, please don’t forget to cancel your hotel reservation with no penalty up to 24 before 3/27
Fate crossed our paths on 10/16/18 and for the next month and a half we talked nonstop all day, everyday. After much discussion and planning a trip to Kansas City was in order. Chris planned the entire trip and after the very first day together we knew what we had was something incredibly special. Countless trips across I-70 occurred over the upcoming months before we made the decision to live our lives with less than 4 hours separating us. Enjoying the summer in Kansas City together solidified that we wanted to spend forever together. Almost a year after meeting, Chris officially asked if we could spend together forever and the answer was absolutely YES!! So here we are planning our wedding and we can't wait for you to join us and help us celebrate :)
