We met on Match.com where we instantly clicked. We decided to meet in person on the Manhattan Beach Pier in California and we spent several hours together walking the town and sharing our passions.

Christopher rented out the Huntington Library Botanical Gardens grounds and hired a photographer. Luis thought it was a photo shoot for his boss regarding antique furniture. As we walked through the gardens and entered the Chinese garden, we moseyed along the route with lush flowers and bamboo reaching for the sky. As we came to the Zen garden, the ancient colossal wooden doors were closed and we never seen the doors shut before. Our photographer went to the back to see if he could open. He yelled to enter. Magically the doors opened and and opera singer was serenading us as we walk down the peaceful walkway full of rose pedals. When we walked the entire length, there was the ring on rose pedals and Christopher got on one knee and asked Luis to be his forever husband. He said yes!!
