Luana went to Chicago for vacation where she went ice skating, fell, had to have emergency surgery - so with 2 plates and 8 screws in her ankle later, she was told she could not fly for at least 1 month. Friends from the Detroit area brought her to their home to recover. Due to this random accident Chris had the chance to meet someone he thought he was talking to in Brazil to help teach her English. Upon finding out she was in Michigan he asked her on a date. Nothing has been easy - from the beginning of their relationship which started out with Chris trying to explain their first date at TGI Fridays would be on a Tuesday, to overcoming broken ankles, and living worlds apart. It was serendipity that this relationship even happened and they both now believe in miracles. A lot of things have lined up perfectly in their lives for this special event, and now they are able to invite all of you to join in their special day!
