It all began in the fall of 2020, where the algorithm stars aligned and led us to each other on a dating app. Our first date was on October 10th at a cozy restaurant in Queens, it was filled with instant attraction and sparks, being around one another seemed effortlessly. From that moment on, we knew we were meant to be together. Our early days were filled with hiking adventures in Long Island and long FaceTime calls, where we discovered our shared interests, values, and quirks. Christopher's ambition and honesty immediately drew me in, while my fun-loving and charismatic nature seemed to capture his heart. It was a match made in heaven. We enjoy spending time together engaging in fitness activities, laughing until our sides hurt, going on boat rides throughout the summer and creating lasting memories. From crazy adventures to cozy nights in, every moment is cherished and treasured. Like any couple, we faced challenges along the way. The stress of moving into our first home tested our patience and communication skills. However, through it all, we learned the importance of love, respect, and understanding. These challenges only strengthened our bond and solidified our commitment to each other. The magical moment of our proposal happened last summer, on August 26th. Thinking we were celebrating Christopher's birthday, we ventured to the Fire Island Lighthouse. As I complained about the heat on our walk to the lighthouse, little did I know that a beautiful surprise awaited me. As we arrived, Christopher got down on one knee and asked me to be his forever. It was a moment filled with joy and love. We spent the day surrounded by the people we hold dear. Our hopes and dreams for the future are simple yet profound. We envision a loving home filled with laughter, growth, and endless love. We aspire to grow old together and continue to nurture our bond, creating a life that is rich in love and happiness.
