When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We kindly request that you RSVP no later than July 31, 2025.

What time should I arrive?

Guests are welcome to arrive at the banquet at 5pm.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Please wear cocktail attire to the banquet. Since this is a Chinese banquet, avoid wearing red or white. The weather in the Bay Area can be a little unpredictable in September so bring a light jacket as needed.

Where is the banquet venue?

Answer

The banquet will be held at Pearl Bay Restaurant at 43635 Boscell Rd, Fremont, CA 94538. There is plenty of parking in front of the restaurant. Please enter the restaurant through the main doors.

Where should I stay in order to be close to the venue?

I heard there is a tea ceremony and banquet. Am I invited to both?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to limited space at our tea ceremony venue, only guests invited to the tea ceremony will be able to join. We hope to see the rest of our guests during the banquet in the evening.

Is there parking at the tea ceremony venue?

Answer

Since the tea ceremony will be held at the Shin residence, there will be limited parking. Please find street parking where you are able to in the neighborhood and we will have someone pick you up at the bottom of the driveway as needed.

Are you registered?

Answer

The two of us have decided not to create a registry. As we celebrate the beginning of our life together, your presence at our wedding is the most meaningful gift we could receive. Nevertheless, should you feel compelled to mark the occasion with a gift, we would be grateful for your contribution to our honeymoon fund. Your kindness will assist us in creating memories that will last a lifetime.
