Let's have a wedding!

After some convincing to drive 3 hours for a single night before driving back to the animal shelter for an appointment to see a puppy, we made our way to southern Colorado. We hiked/skinned up Cuchara Mountain and had a little surprise at the top (of our hike, not the mountain, couldn’t quite get there). CJ set up his phone to “take a picture for his mom” but instead it was a video meant to capture the moment. After only 4 words and completely disregarding the speech that had been planned, Laura said YES!

Laura and CJ have been close friends since Junior year of High School when they both studied abroad in Spain. After giving it just the right amount of time (depending on who you ask) they started dating on January 5th ish of 2019. The rest is history.
