Casa Cornacchi

ACCOMMODATION: We plan to host everyone onsite at Casa Cornacchi's many countryside villas. If you'd like to find your own accommodations, you're free to do so. If you'd like recommendations, you're welcome to reach out to Chris or Kaitlin. Please note that country roads may make certain venues look close, but may actually be 20+ minutes driving. We highly encourage all our guests to stay onsite or one of the associated villas, as we can arrange breakfast and transportation.

Transportation to the Venue

We highly encourage renting a car and there is lots of parking onsite. If you choose to drive, it's an easy 25-30 minute drive from Siena on mostly freeways and main roads. Once you approach the mountain, you will need to drive on an unpaved road for a few minutes that is a little thinner than US standards (still very manageable). There are two entrances, one that requires steep hills and one that routes you around to the back of the property on a flatter road. All that said, Kathy and Kaitlin drove there with no instructions, just followed basic signage and lived to tell the tale, so don't stress too much! :) Alternatively, you can train to Siena or another nearby town and arrange transportation via taxi or a driver to and from your accommodations (20-30 minutes). Please note that if you go this route, we highly encourage you to pre-arrange a driver back to Siena or elsewhere. Casa Cornacchi can assist in arranging taxi services, but those need to be made in advance. Please reach out to kaitlinandchris2025@gmail.com if you need assistance with transportation. Please note Uber/Lyft are not options, as this is the countryside. All car service options need to be arranged at least a day in advance. Finally, you can arrange a car service from another major airport or city (Florence or Piza), but note those may be more expensive, as they are a 90+ minute drive away. We have booked a shuttle to the Florence train station at 10 AM on Thursday. Please reach out to one of us if you'd be interested in that joining us.

Passports and Visas

Please make sure your passport is ready to go. The expiration date must be six months or more after your date of return. IMPORTANT: The EU introduced a new program that starts the middle of 2025 where US visitors must apply or a visa in advance. It costs $10 or less and only takes a few minutes. We believe this program has been delayed, but will share more information if it goes into effect.

Offsite Check In and Shuttle Times

October 27 Check-In: Guests should check in at their assigned villa. If you are at Casa Murli, check in will be there (do not go to Casa Cornacchi to check in). Check in is requested between 3-5 PM. Please notify us if you need to check in earlier or later so we can make arrangements. October 27 Shuttle: For guests staying at Casa Murli, shuttle pick up is at 6 PM and returns at 9:30 PM. October 28 Shuttle: For guests staying at Casa Murli, shuttle pick up is at 2:45 PM and returns at 12:30 AM. October 29 Shuttle: For guests staying at Casa Murli, shuttle pick up is at 3 PM and returns at 9 PM. Please let us know if you'd like to make changes to this schedule so we can adjust the timing.

Restaurant Hours

Most importantly, the bar opens at 12 PM and closes at 10 PM. Breakfast daily from 8 AM to 10 AM Lunch daily from 12 PM-3 PM (closes at 2 PM on the wedding day)
