Awestruck Ciders
Casual bar focusing on New York State hard cider, available by the flight. Made from a seasonal blend of 100% fresh-pressed New York Apples with unique flavors in addition to the expected. Has outdoor seating. Doesn't accept reservations. Has bar games and some food. Occasionally has a food truck. This is the parent location of the cidery we had our first date at. About 45 min from the venue, but worth the trip. We love this place!
Jewetts Cheese House
Family-run shop offering cheddar and other cheeses, plus local meats and gourmet foods. They have some cheese that is 20 years old and offer free samples. Open Sunday - Friday until 5 pm, closed on Saturday.
Paddleford Park
Paddleford Park offers a community pool, playground, pavilions, lighted baseball fields and youth recreation programs. Can access the Rexford Falls from this park.
Rexford Falls
Rexford Falls in Sherburne, New York is a an easy to moderate 0.4-mile out-and-back hike that features the 40-foot tall waterfall known as Rexford Falls. A pedestrian bridge spans the deep Mad Brook gorge at the crest of Rexford Falls, providing an easy-to-reach vantage point and leading to the undeveloped park along Route 80. Mad Brook flows through a long, gradual shoot and then drops into the deep gorge at Rexford Falls. The falls are about seventy-five feet high. Below the falls the steep, rocky banks of the stream rise to a height of nearly one hundred feet and form a narrow, romantic gorge.
Northeast Classic Car Museum
The Northeast Classic Car Museum is a non-profit educational facility in Norwich, New York that collects and exhibits notable vehicles throughout the history of the United States. Over 160 vehicles from 1899 through the early 1970s are on display in five connected buildings. Permanent exhibits feature Franklin automobiles, luxury vehicles, post-war vehicles, and cars made in New York State.
