What should I wear?

Answer

Keep in mind that is a fully outdoor venue, and we expect the temperature to generally range between 85 degrees to 65 degrees. While there are paved walkways throughout the garden, there is also a good deal of grass that you may choose to walk on, so keep that in mind when choosing footwear. And yes, there will be dancing, so bring comfortable shoes.

What COVID safety precautions are being taken?

Answer

We got engaged on February 20, 2020, and while we are grateful to finally be far enough through this pandemic that we feel comfortable having a wedding, we also have a responsibility to do this as safely as possible. We are asking all guests who plan on attending to be fully vaccinated, and we encourage you to get boosted if you are eligible. It is an outdoor venue, which we take comfort in, but we would like all of our guests to have the peace of mind that everyone in attendance has done everything they can to minimize the risk both to themselves and to everyone else.

Can I bring my dog? Oh, and also my kid too?

Answer

Yes! You are welcome to bring your children, but please let us know if you will need a high chair. The venue is a dog-friendly public park, so you are welcome to bring your pup, if you like. Maxwell Joe Biden will be present and in a starring role, of course.

What food and drink will be provided?

Answer

We are still in the process of deciding on a caterer, but there will be a full dinner provided and an open bar.

Is there parking?

Answer

Yes! There is free parking immediately outside of the Japanese Friendship Garden, in case you have a car.
