Roundtop Mountain Resort
Known best for it's ski slopes, Roundtop Mountain offers a ton of warm weather activities as well. From paintball, to zip line tours and rope courses, if you're catching a wild hair this is the place for you! Also just a beautiful spot for sight seeing.
Gifford Pinchot State Park
Both Chris and I have wonderful memories of Pinchot Park from childhood to adulthood. A great spot for swimming, fishing and hiking the Mason Dixon Trail! Check out the webiste for the Top 10 Things To Do and driving directions.
Millworks
If you're looking for a great meal with an atmosphere, we suggest Millworks in Harrisburg. This historic building combines a brewery/biergarten, restaurant, and artist studios in one. Tour the studios while artists work and check out their amazing gift shop to take some local PA art home with you!
Broad Street Market
The Broad Street Market was founded in 1860, and has the distinction of being the oldest continuously operated market house in the United States. Broad Street Market thrives today as a culturally rich place to experience a broad diversity of fresh food, people, and city life. (Broad Street is across the street from my and Chris' favorite book store, The Midtown Scholar, also worth a gander!)
