On Saturday, May 17th, 2014, Erin went to Boston and was invited to a last minute birthday celebration. The party bus was for her future-husband and the pre-game started at his apartment (their future apartment). After a fun night, they went different ways without ever officially meeting. Fast forward two months later, Chris and Erin officially met on a mutual friend weekend trip to New Hampshire. Erin was not happy that guys were crashing the annual girls weekend - until she saw the most tall, dark and handsome man walk through the door. She immediately ran downstairs to change out of her grey-on-grey sweatsuit into something more appealing (two-toned sweats). After that moment, she called "dibs" on Christopher, and after a weekend full of dancing, laughter, and the normal "what baggage do you have" conversation, they both knew the weekend would not be the end. As their love story continued, both Chris and Erin decided to create their own path together. No one would guess that the Boston boy would leave "God's Country", but their adventurous spirits led them to both sunny South Florida and New York. Since the day they became Domestic Partners, they knew they never wanted any rocking-chair regrets.
Before the passing of Mr. Kowalski, Christopher and Erin decided that a wedding would be a truly special moment for Jack. In front of a small group of family and friends, Chris and Erin exchanged vows. They share a memory that they will always hold dear to their hearts.
