We're getting married!

Our paths crossed on the campus of Northern Kentucky University during Emily's freshman year and Christopher's sophomore year. Depending on who you ask, we have different accounts of our first sighting of each other, but we quickly became acquainted. Our paths continued to intertwine as we were involved in many of the same campus organizations, like the Baptist Campus Ministry and Presidential Ambassadors. In the spring of 2022, Christopher went out on a limb and asked Emily to a coffee date at Carabello's in Newport. It only took a couple of days to become inseparable. We spent the summer of 2022 traveling across the state (with Emily in Western Kentucky and Christopher in Eastern Kentucky) to visit one another's family. Our relationship has endured many months of long distance, as Christopher spent time studying abroad in England and working at Walt Disney World in Florida, and Emily also studied abroad in Spain. After much patience and prayer, Christopher proposed on May 27, 2025 while on a family vacation on Mackinac Island, Michigan. That brings us to today, as we prepare for the celebration of our marriage on May 16, 2026. Maysville, Kentucky is a special place for both of us, nestled on the Ohio River in Northeast Kentucky. Its downtown (where our venue is located) is peaceful, timeless and feels like home -- a representation of our love. We can not wait to celebrate our love and union with you!
