We're going to have a small private ceremony at City Hall earlier in the day. We're excited to celebrate with all of you that evening with a reception at one of our favorite neighborhood bars. We'll have plenty to drink from Izzy Rose's exquisite cocktail/mocktail menu and beer and wine lists. We'll also have a light dinner of pizza and salad.
After Party

If people want to keep partying after 11, we're reserved a little space at Casanara, a bar two blocks from Izzy Rose with great cocktails, a DJ, and dancing!

Bagels, a Ferry, and a Picnic

If you're around Saturday morning, please join us for a BYOB(agel) picnic on Governors Island. Ferries depart from Battery Park, Brooklyn Bridge Park, or Red Hook. Ferry details can be found at https://www.nps.gov/gois/planyourvisit/ferryschedule.htm There are picnic areas, public restrooms, a children’s play area, a hammock grove, and food and drink available to purchase. It’s a great place to hang out with friends and family! Consider bringing any of the following: -Picnic blankets/chairs -Drinks! -Food! -Bagels! (Shelsky’s is a beloved classic bagel spot and is on the way to the Brooklyn Bridge Park ferry terminal. We can’t recommend them enough!) -Your children! -Bicycles or tricycles or strollers! -A parasol or sun hat -Not dogs! Unfortunately dogs are not allowed on the island during the summer season. Sorry!
