We thank you so much for your patience and support over the last few months. We are happy to announce that we are moving forward with our wedding on September 19, 2020 in Annapolis. As states are beginning to open up and lift restrictions, we are hopeful for a nearly normal wedding weekend. Though, as you can imagine, there is still some uncertainty and we are continuing to monitor the situation. We will keep you informed of any new developments – please check back here for the most up to date information.
We completely understand some of you may be hesitant to travel at this time. Your health is our priority, and we know there are many factors to consider. We respect your decision to do whatever is best for you and your family. This is a personal decision you should make for yourself based on your health, what you feel comfortable with, where you are located, and in accordance with public health and government guidelines.
Yes, but the Department of Defense is beginning to open travel between states that hit positive COVID reduction metrics. We anticipate the continuing ease of these restrictions as the summer progresses. If this changes or does not go according to plan, we will let everyone know.
We are working with our vendors to ensure appropriate measures are put in place, and we will follow all guidance in order to minimize the risk of transmission.
Please RSVP on our website by Friday, August 14, 2020.
Yes, formal attire. We kindly ask for all active duty military, ladies excluded, to be in Full Dress White (medals and ribbons). Gloves and swords only required for members of the Sword Arch.
Adults only for all wedding weekend activities.
Absolutely! When you RSVP, there will be an area for you to note any dietary restrictions.
Yes! We will provide transportation from the designated guest hotels to the ceremony and the reception and back to the Downtown Annapolis hotels at the end of the night. Please check back closer to the wedding date for the final transportation schedule.
Because the United States Naval Academy is a military installation, drive on access is limited. For ease of access, chartered buses will shuttle guests to the USNA Chapel and to the reception. We do not advise it, but if you would like to drive to either destination, please let us know and we will provide you with instructions.
Everyone is invited to the Welcome Party on Friday night. Please be sure to RSVP. We hope to see your there!
The ceremony will take place inside; however, there will be moments outside in uncovered areas, so plan accordingly. Cocktail hour will be on a covered deck and the reception will take place indoors.
