Where is the ceremony?

Weather permitting, we are hoping to have the ceremony outside overlooking the vineyard.

What should I wear?

Answer

Cocktail or dressy casual attire would be appropriate. The (short) ceremony will be outside, weather-permitting, on a paved surface, before moving inside to the reception. The high in Albemarle is 68F and the low is 44F at this time of year.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 6:30pm so we recommend arriving between 6-6:15pm so you can grab a seat.

Where should I park?

Answer

There is parking available onsite in front of the venue.

Question

Where should I stay? Is there transportation to the venue?

Answer

We have reserved a block of hotel rooms at the Holiday Inn Express and Suites in Albemarle, which is about 7 miles from the venue. There will be a shuttle between this hotel and the venue that makes one trip to the venue at 5:50pm and three returning trips during the night, the last one at 10:55pm. Additionally, there are some cool cabins and homes for rent on Lake Tillery on VRBO or Airbnb that are near the venue.

Are there any other wedding weekend events?

Answer

There aren't any other hosted events for everyone, but if you get in to town on Friday, you are welcome to hang out with us between 8-10pm at Harmanco's (restaurant and bar) in Albemarle.
