What is the dress code for your wedding?
Answer
We ask that you wear cocktail attire such as a cocktail-length dress, dressy separates, suit, or dress shirt with a tie. Please note that the venue does not permit jeans or sneakers.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?
Answer
We kindly ask that you keep our wedding ceremony "unplugged" and refrain from taking any photos or videos. We want our guests to truly be in the moment with us during this special time. We will have a professional photographer and videographer during the ceremony and are excited to share their captured moments with you! However, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you would like during the cocktail hour and reception!

Am I allowed to bring a plus-one?
Answer
Since we want to keep our wedding as intimate as possible, we unfortunately cannot accommodate plus-ones beyond those provided for in the RSVP form. We hope you understand our decision and look forward to seeing you soon!

We love your children, but due to space restrictions, we cannot accommodate children beyond those accounted for in the RSVP form.

What are the addresses of the wedding ceremony and reception venues?
Answer
The ceremony and reception will both be held at the same venue: Melrose Abbey 3931 Washington Street Kansas City, MO 64111

Is there parking available near your wedding venue?
Answer
For guests within driving distance of the venue, there is ample and free street parking located behind Melrose Abbey on Washington. After you park, please walk around to the main front gate on Broadway. For out-of-town guests, there will also be a shuttle service to and from our preferred hotel (see below).

Have you reserved a hotel room block?
Answer
Yes! We have reserved a room block at AC Hotel Kansas City Plaza, which is located just 1/4 mile from Melrose Abbey. Please book your stay by September 17th to guarantee a room in our block. Call the hotel directly at (816) 931-0001 and mention our wedding.

Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotel?
Answer
If you stay in the room block we've reserved at AC Hotel Kansas City Plaza, there will be a shuttle service to and from the venue.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all be indoors at the same location.

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?
Answer
Please select the vegetable ratatouille when RSVP'ing for a meal choice that is both vegan and gluten free. If you have additional allergies or restrictions, please let us know in the designated section of your digital RSVP! If you forget to do so, please directly reach out to either Christopher or Eleanor. We want you to feel comfortable and well fed!

Yes! There will be an open bar for guests to enjoy throughout the cocktail hour and reception.

Where should we bring or send our wedding gift?
Answer
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to: 4916 Bradshaw St Shawnee, KS 66216 We will also have a wedding card box at our reception.
