FAQs

Question

What is the attire for the day?

Answer

We are asking all of our guests to stick to formal attire while avoiding the standard colors for the bride (white, creams, and ivories). The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception are all taking place indoors, so while we encourage our guests to wear comfortable shoes, we also ask that you avoid sneakers, tennis shoes, or shoes that would be considered casual! For the men specifically, we're asking you avoid jeans, T-shirts, and Hawaiian shirts specifically (due to bad experiences).

Question

Can I bring my child(ren)?

Answer

YES! Anyone who knows the bride knows we will always welcome your little ones! If it isn't stated formally on your invitation, please contact the bride or groom so we can account for them on the day of! We would also like to add that food options may be more limited for children due to the catering options we have.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

While we both love to meet new people, if you have a plus one, it will be stated in your invitation! We're trying to keep our wedding to guests we know very well and love very much! If you don't see a plus one on your invitation, we ask that you don't bring one unless it has been communicated and discussed with the bride and/or groom!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony begins at 4:30 so we're asking all of our guests to arrive and be in the building before 4:00PM.

Question

How should I get to the venue?

Answer

While we encourage carpooling and Uber, there is a complimentary valet for those who drive their own vehicles!

Question

Who should I contact if I have questions about the wedding day?

Answer

As much as we love Chris, he is notorious for not responding to text messages, so we are asking that questions get directed towards the bride!

Question

Where should I sit during the ceremony?

Answer

While each guest is warmly welcomed, we're asking that the first several rows are saved on either side for our immediate families. Any questions about where to sit can be directed to our dear friend and usher, Will!

Question

When should I RSVP?

Answer

The wedding is September 6th, but because we need to send final headcounts to our vendors, we're asking all RSVPs be in by July 1st!

Question

Can I take photos?

Answer

We love a good candid shot, and encourage it during the reception! We are asking, however, that the ceremony stays unplugged. We have a great team of photographers for our wedding day and want to make sure they get the best shots!

Question

Do you have a gift registry?

Answer

We do! It's listed on this website, but please know that a gift is not expected, but we will always appreciate it! We're just excited to have all our favorite people with us to celebrate such an important day in our lives!

Question

Where should we stay?

Answer

While the wedding is being held in a hotel, we have other options listed under the "Travel" page on this website!
