Is there a shuttle?

Answer

Yes, there will be a free shuttle between our main hotel (Chestnut Hill Hotel) and the wedding venue. Please see the HOTEL & SHUTTLE tab for more info including pick up and drop off times.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, the venue has a designated parking lot on site for those that wish to drive (up to 100 spaces). However, we recommend and highly encourage the use of the shuttle or rideshare services/taxis for those that wish to drink alcohol.

What about overnight parking at the venue?

Answer

The venue may allow for overnight parking but must have prior arrangement to do so. Please contact us if you wish to have the option. The venue does NOT have parking lot security at night and is not responsible for theft or any other crime. Also, you must pick up your car by 10am the next day.

What is the dress code?

Answer

This event is formal but black-tie optional. Just to note, there will be lawn games and guests are allowed to roam the grassy areas of the park if they please.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors (weather permitting) while the reception will be indoors. If it rains, everything will be moved indoors.

Are children and babies allowed?

Answer

Yes, children and babies are very much welcome. However, we do ask to briefly excuse yourself if babies start crying during the ceremony. We will have some yard games and activities for them to play with.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We prefer you don't take photos using your cell phone during the ceremony. We have a professional photographer and videographer and will be happy to share the wedding album. However, feel free to take pictures at any other time.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes but please drink responsibly. There will be an after party so please pace yourselves.

Should you tip the bartenders or other staff?

Answer

No, we will be tipping the staff separately so guests are not required/obligated to tip (even if there are tip jars).

What hotels to book?

Answer

See HOTEL & SHUTTLE tab for accommodations and other info. Please book by March 15th to take advantage of discounted rates at our preferred/main hotel (Chestnut Hill Hotel).

Flying to Philadelphia

Answer

If you are flying, our preferred/main hotel (Chestnut Hill Hotel) is about a 30-minute drive from the Philadelphia International Airport (PHL). It is recommended to use rideshare services or taxis instead of renting a car. For those that wish to stay in center city of Philadelphia (not recommended due to dealing with traffic on day of event), you can take a SEPTA train from the airport to the city.

Where is the wedding registry?

Answer

Please see the REGISTRY tab on this website. Yes, there are only two items we wish for :) There will also be a wedding card box by the guest book table at the venue.
