Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Christopher Gorman and Danielle Stahlnecker
We can't wait for you to experience the magic of Central Oregon with us. We've included some of our favorite experiences in the Sisters area below. If you're planning to make a longer trip out of this, reach out! We have so many more fun places to recommend in Bend, the Oregon Coast, or ways to make a really fun road trip from the Midwest.

The Barn in Sisters

171 East Main Avenue, Sisters, OR 97759
, (541) 904-4343

This place has some really yummy food truck options, plus local craft brews, all set in a cute park. The pizza spot was our favorite!

Wizard Falls Fish Hatchery

Camp Sherman, OR 97730
, (541) 595-6611

Only a few minutes down the road from House on Metolius. They maintain a stock of local fish for the surrounding rivers and lakes. Bring quarters to feed the fish! We could have spent hours watching them all compete for kibble!

Black Butte Ranch

Black Butte Ranch, OR 97759

This is only about 10 minutes from House on Metolius. There's lots to do around here, but we love it for the golf and disc golfing. We heard you can rent surfboard golf carts. Also, their practice green has a putt putt course attached, all made from real golf greens.

The Suttle Lodge & Boathouse

13300 U.S. 20, Sisters, OR 97759
, (541) 638-7001

Suttle Lodge is only about 15 minutes from House on Metolius. There's a beautiful mountain lake, and an easy rental station to SUP, kayak or canoe. The Boathouse Restaurant onsite also has really fun casual food that's great for breakfast or lunch.

Blazin Saddles

413 West Hood Avenue, Sisters, OR 97759
, (541) 719-1213

Bike rentals! This area is so bike friendly, and if you're up for a ride, they have bike rentals here. Only a few blocks away, you can ride for a stunning view of the Three Sisters mountains.

Sno Cap Drive In

380 West Cascade Ave, Sisters, OR 97759

We love this spot for a convenient frozen sweet treat. Give yourself time because there's always a line. It reminds us a lot of Zesto in Lincoln.

Crater Lake National Park

Crater Lake, OR 97604
, (541) 594-3000

Okay, this one is a bit of a drive. But, if you're planning to extend your trip to Central Oregon, Crater Lake National Park is worth it. Our favorite activity in Crater Lake is the boat tour to Wizard Island. Make sure you reserve boat tickets in advance, and bring your hiking shoes!
