Here's a solid morning: - Eat at Reading Terminal - Walk to Independence Hall/Liberty Bell/President's House complex -> Get free ticket for tour of Independence Hall - Get picture with Liberty Bell (from outside, the line to go inside is always crazy, and it's just a bell) - Walk to Ben Franklin's Grave and toss a penny on the grave - Walk to Christ Church - Walk to Elfreth's Alley - Walk to Franklin Fountain for ice cream - Depending on given time frame for tour of Independence Hall, walk back toward Independence Hall, stopping at the Ben Franklin complex (his printing press, old house, and museum are all right near each other) - Take tour of Independence Hall

Gotta get a cheesesteak while you're here. Hands down, the best is Angelo's: https://angelospizzeriasouthphiladelphia.com/ John's Roast Pork is a close second. Delassandro's is also delicious, but far from center city. Or check out Cheesesteak Corner (Pat's and Geno's). Stay away from Jim's 'ground beef hoagie' (sorry again, Mas).
