We met the modern way, on a dating app. What are the odds that two people swiping on their phones would find their forever? But somehow, that’s exactly what happened! Chris says he knew I was the one on our very first date… specifically the moment I absolutely housed a burrito right in front of him while he was too nervous to even eat. Apparently that’s when he thought to himself, “Yep, that’s my future wife” About a year and a half later, here we are! From the beginning, we connected over the things that matter most to us—our faith, our love for family and friends, and building a life centered around those values. When it came time for Chris to propose, he made sure it was unforgettable. Being the talented golfer he is (with three hole-in-ones already under his belt), he decided to stage one more… but this one was a little different. After “hitting” the perfect shot, we walked up to the hole where Chris pulled out the ball, except it wasn’t just a golf ball. Inside the hole was a ring box too. He got down on one knee and completely surprised me. Now we can’t wait to celebrate with all of you in San Diego as our worlds come together from coast to coast. We couldn’t be more excited to have everyone we love in one place celebrating together!
