We're Getting Married!

We met in PT school and quickly became inseparable. After months of Chris patiently pursuing me (and me slowly falling for his perfectly thoughtful ways), I finally said yes to being his girlfriend during a special trip to St. Augustine over winter break. Fast forward to our engagement: Chris proposed at Bok Tower Gardens, in the midst of nature we both love, in the most romantic and “me” way possible. He woke up early (a big sacrifice for him!) to drive an hour and a half so we could enjoy the gardens together. I was completely surprised to discover he had arranged a photographer to capture the moment. I didn’t even look at the ring—I was just overjoyed knowing he sees his life with me. After our engagement photos, Chris surprised me with a picnic—complete with wine, charcuterie, a silk blanket, and all the little details he planned the night before. As rain began, we prayed under a pavilion together, and the moment ended with the loudest thunder and lightning strike, a beautiful reminder of God’s blessing in our lives. Our magical weekend continued with a love letter, a surprise dinner at California Grill to watch the Magic Kingdom fireworks, and a special brunch to finish it off. Through it all, we’ve been continually affirmed by each other and by God, knowing we’ve been gifted the perfect partner for this life together. We hope this little glimpse into our love story shares the joy we feel, and we can’t wait to celebrate with our family and friends soon!
