Their love endured even greater challenges when COVID-19 separated them across continents, with Christopher stationed at a NATO base in Sicily. Despite the miles, they found a way to commit to each other, even having a marriage by proxy in Montana—proof that nothing could stand in the way of their partnership. After three years in Italy, Christopher returned to Japan, where their journey continued and grew. In May 2024, they welcomed their son, Aiden Perez Davidson, adding another beautiful chapter to their story.
